Another year has passed and on behalf of our Board of Directors, leadership, and team, we would like to thank you for all your support throughout 2025. Update October 2025
Read highlights from the BioMed Alliance and EU developments in October 2025. This edition features updates on our upcoming General Assembly programme, the new AI Task Force, and recommendations to streamline digital health regulations. It also covers ongoing MDR/IVDR advocacy, including input to the Commission’s targeted revision and a visit to UZ Leuven. Update September 2025
Following the summer break, September brought a series of key developments in biomedical and health policy. In this edition, you will find updates on the Alliance’s response to the European Commission’s call for evidence on the upcoming European Research Area (ERA) Act, a joint open letter on the EU Medical Devices Regulation (MDR), and new CORE-MD recommendations on clinical evidence for high-risk medical devices. We also highlight the 2025 State of the Union Address, the European Research and Innovation (R&I) Days, and upcoming events.
